A Finn wants to go to sauna on a holiday, and a Finnish sauna is an experience for many foreigners. In the Forssa region, there are smoke saunas, underground saunas, a boat sauna, a landscape sauna and traditional lakeside saunas, among others. The sauna experience can also be completed by bathing in a hot tube or by taking a dip in the freesing cold water throught an ice hole in winter.
Venesilta's beach sauna warms up on request in the scenery of beautiful Pyhäjärvi in Tammela.
During the summer, general sauna shifts for 5€/person, free for overnight guests
Open sauna:
On Wednesdays (June-August)
- men from 5pm to 6pm
- mixed from 6pm to 7pm
- women from 7pm to 8pm
On Fridays
- women from 4pm to 5pm
- mixed from 5pm to 6pm
- men from 6pm to 7pm
On Saturdays
- men from 4pm to 5pm
- mixed 5pm to 6 pm
- women from 6pm to 7pm
During June and July open sauna for singles every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm
Family sauna for 6 persons Mon-Thu 25€/h, Fri-Sun 50€/h and extra hours 20€/h
